Cute Card Thursday 182 - Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations 129 - Anything Goes
Good morning everyone, and welcome to another Penny Black Saturday Challenge. Thanks once again to everyone who entered last week’s Say It With Flowers challenge –what a frenzy of fabulous florals you came up with!! Don’t forget to check out the main challenge blog to see if you are a winner.
Anyhow, this week our challenge theme is seasonal .. yes it is
Easter Extravaganza
So it’s time to seek out those cute bunnies and chicks, spring flowers or any other suitable PB images you may have to hand. You can interpret the theme however you like, but remember that to be eligible for the prize you must submit a new piece of work that uses a Penny black image, large sentiment or stickeroo as its main focus.
This week’s fab prize is from our former teamie Carole, and is this gorgeous PB slapstick stamp, “Hedgehog Birthday”
The other ladies have made some fabulous and adorable Easter creations – here’s mine.

and secondly a yummy prize from The Ribbon Girl:
The winner can choose one colour selection which includes ribbons, seam binding, button twine, divine baker's twine, buttons, pins, lace, a charm and even a roll of 3mm ultra sticky tape!!
Wow!!
The other members of the DT have gone fold crazy so please do check them out ... here's mine.
I decided to make an easel card, even though they are always so difficult to photograph lol!! Another reason was that I really wanted to use this adorable kitty image, and it is so large that it almost fills a standard square card - so it was good to have a little more space to decorate with the sentiment etc.
Recipe:
Main image: Penny Black "You're The Bestest" coloured with Promarkers;
Sentiment: Whiff of Joy;
Papers: Papermania "Forever Friends - Spring Time";
Supplies: flowers and pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts; ribbon from Hobbycraft;
Tools: Shapeabilities "Fancy tags"; Martha Stewart "Floral Vine" deep edge punch; Leone Em "Ash Family" leaf punch; Cuttlebug "Floral Fantasy" embossing folder.

Here's a closeup of my colouring and Melinda's sparkly wings.
... and here are my new yummy Wild Orchid Crafts large curly wild roses and dinky rosebuds ... the middle size rose was a birthday gift from Sue.

I used the brilliant sketch from this week's Whiff of Joy Challenge #80 ....
... and would also like to enter this card for a few other challenges:

I just had to have a play with my cute new Gillian Roberts stamp "Bear & Robin" - he is just sooo cute!
