Hi everyone, I’ve not found much time for crafting over the past couple of weeks for one reason and another … I got quite into watching the Olympics on TV, and when I did get round to crafting I had a couple of projects I needed to make which I can’t share just yet. However, yesterday afternoon I sat down and had a play, resulting in a cheerful summery Lavinia card.
I cut a square of white stamping card, and created a background by blending Sahara and Lime Punch Elements inks through a circle mask. I then stamped my flowers and foliage using various shades of Versafine Clair 1st and 2nd generation stamping, then added the bee (I have decided this one is Hum). I coloured Hum with Sakura Stardust pen and added Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to his wings, then I highlighted the meadow flowers with white Posca pen and the dandelions with Stardust pen and a Posca sparkle pen. I stamped the sentiment, matted the panel onto a green border and card blank, then finished off by painting a little green Stickles around the base of the circle and adding graduated dots with a yellow Posca sparkle pen .
