I haven't got a lot of time to craft at the moment, so when I do get chance I'm trying to tie my cards in to as many challenges as I can. So I sat down this evening and put my thinking cap on, and this is what I came up with ....
2nd: A Spoon Full of Sugar #19 is a sketch by Camilla - so I used that for my layout.
3rd: My Time to Craft #31 is Trees and Leaves - which I have incorporated with my yummy sparkly background paper from K&Co, and the two dinky Doodlebug buttons in the corner.
4th: Arty Girlz #54 is Red - now I don't often use red on cards, but it seemed to tie in with the trees on the paper, so I also used some red handmade paper which I won at last weekend's craft retreat, and matte mirri card embossed with the Cuttlebug holly folder.
Last but not least: Cute Card Thursday #30 is Christmas Animals - this cute image by Penny Black was gifted to me by the lovely Samantha, and I coloured it with watercolour pencils and Cosmic Shimmers.
I finished the card off with a vellum sticker by Papermania - hope you like it!
My name is Pauline, and I have been cardmaking since 2006. I started my cardmaking blog in 2008, to showcase my addiction to stamping and all things pretty - I can spend hours footling around matching up papers, ribbons and embellishments!! I have been on a number of card blog design teams, but am currently taking a step back due to various other commitments. During 2013 I discovered the joy of baking, and for 2014 have started a new baking blog to chart my progress and also include a charity element. I only wish I had more time to devote to these hobbies ... but I have to work full time as a project manager to help pay for my baking ingredients and crafty stash!!
