Crafty Calendar - Guest DT for September

I was really thrilled when Lisa asked me to make a guest DT card for the September Crafty Calendar Challenge, and really encouraged by her kind words about my blog - thanks hun :-)

The theme for this month's Crafty Calendar is based on the combination of September's birthstone with the end of summertime ... so it is

blue

with an optional extra of

flowers

When thinking about blue and flowers as a combo I decided to go with a kind of vintage floral look ... so I raided my paper stocks for a few pieces of old paper that I had got in mind. Had a bit of a panic when I couldn't find them, but eventually they turned up, and formed the basis of the whole scheme.
