Hi everyone, a pretty simple Christmas card from me today. I hadn’t made a wreath card in a while so I hunted out my Mini mistletoe and cracked on!
I created a soft inky circle by blending Green Parrot Elements ink around a circle mask, then stamped my Mini mistletoe multiple times using Grass Green VFC to form a wreath. I added stars around the outside stamped in 2nd generation Morning Mist VFC, then coloured the mistletoe berries and added highlights to the leaves and stars using a clear Stardust pen. Lastly I stamped the focal sentiment (which is one of my favourite old PB stamps), then matted onto pale green glitter card and my card blank.
Here’s an angled pic to show the sparkle.
Stamps: Lavinia Mini Mistletoe, Stars 1 Mini; Penny Black Joy, Hope (3898F);
Media: Lavinia Elements ink (Green Parrot); Versafine Clair (Grass Green, Rainforest, Mornings Mist); Sakura Stardust pen (clear).

Your wreath is awesome! It does not need more decoration!

Beautiful wreath and well rescued after your problem with the misaligned wooden stamp - often a problem in the past. My first comment disappeared so not sure if it got to you - sorry if I've repeated myself 😉
A lovely wreath and I love the way you managed to overcome the problem of the sentiment not being straight - well rescued. That misalignment thing was often a problem with wood mounted stamps
Beautiful wreath, Pauline and lovely c-mas card.
Thanks for joining us @Little Red Wagon this week.

Hi Pauline
A really pretty card.
Until I read your post I thought your wreath was a whole image in itself, not a wreath made up of individual images .. .. very impressive.
I love the little star images .. .. the perfect finishing touch.
I too have images and sentiments that are not square on their wooden blocks - some I have carefully prised off and re-attached. I used to have one sentiment that was actually up-side down on its block which I didn't realise until I had stamped it onto my finished card!! LOL!!
Love and hugs
Jules xoxo
We are well spoilt with our clear stamps aren't we.
Truly a beautiful Christmas card. I love the wreath with all the beautiful mistletoe and the mopped background. The gorgeous stars in the background also fit perfectly.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful Christmas card with the current Everybody Art Challenge.
Hugs, Uschi
A beautiful card Pauline. Love how this turned out. I have a wreath card scheduled for Saturday also using green as the main color. Great minds think alike :)
Gorgeous wreath card Pauline, I love all the sparkle.
