I spotted that this week's theme over at the
Colour Create Challenge is
lilac and
blue ... which is not only a gorgeous colour combo, but is also perfect for a card I needed to make for a friend. I am really loving the brushstroke flower look at the moment, and pulled out one of my old PB brushstroke flower stamps - even better, I recently bought some Penny Black paper which I think must have been made to go with this stamp!! I'm also loving the new Papermania Shimmer dots - I have used the lilac ones on here which are just so subtle.
I used: Main image: Penny Black "Radiant" stamp coloured with Marvey brushstroke pens.
Sentiment: Penny Black "Hugs" transparent set.
Papers: Penny Black "Field of Irises" and My Mind's Eye "Signature" (dotty background); pearlescent sheen cardstock from Papermania "Gemstones" pack.
Supplies: Papermania shimmer dots in lilac; raffia lace from Hobbycraft; metallic dragonfly brad, ribbon and charm from my stash.
