With Love to Mum & Dad At Christmas

Good morning everyone. As you have probably guessed if you've been looking at my blog over the past couple of weeks, I have been having the classic "last minute panic" and making some quick Christmas cards in batches ... and yesterday I had another little session. However I also spent most of the day making a couple of "special" cards for my mum & dad and for my husband's aunt (his closest relative) - it was nice to get back into my usual comfort zone of "more is more"! :-)  Here is a C5 card I made for my mum & dad.

I love to put a lot of effort into my parents' cards, cos my mum especially really loves to see what I make. I really hope they will like these adorable penguins,

Stamps: LotV "Merry Christmas Penguins"; "Sentiment Tags";
Media: Promarkers and Flexmarkers; distressing on trees with blue pigment ink; plenty of glamour dust all around;
Papers: LotV "Frosty Christmas";
Supplies: flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and local craft shop (blue roses); white spirals from The Ribbon Girl; berries by Magnolia from The Glitterpot; blue and silver gems by Papermania;
Tools: "curved rectangles" mega nestabilities; Magnolia doohickey "Lovely Fence" die; Marianne Design "Christmas Tree" (LR0136) die.

That's all for today .... off now to get the cards all written and in the post! Back tomorrow with my other "special" card, plus I daresay one or two more of my quick ones later in the week :-)
Hugs,
