Something new with my Cuttlebug

Took delivery late last week of my first Cuttlebug Cut'n'emboss folder, so I just had to have a play yesterday. The mojo wasn't with me for any blog challenges plus I had a little challenge to do with a group of personal friends (can't post that yet as the result has to stay secret for a while LOL!) , so when I'd done that I sat down to play with the new Cuttlebug folder ... here is the result.

These folders are so fab - I decided to chalk my flower using Dovecraft glimmer chalks I have had for ages but hardly ever use, also some cute little coloured flower brads that have been sitting in my box forever. So I've decided to log this card with this week's Verve Diva Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers, which is to:

make a card using some of the stamping goodies that need some love!! You know, take out that stamp set that has never seen INK! Bust open that pack of brads that somehow LANDED in your shopping cart and are at the bottom of your drawer! Cut into that FABULOUS designer paper that you HAD to have and are afraid to use!!

Hope you like it!

What a fun card!! I love the soft colors and GREAT cuttlebug use! Thanks for playing along.

You can upload your card to your gallery on SCS without 15 posts, just not link to a thread. Be sure to upload with the keyword so you are eligible for the drawing!!

Hugs, michelle

Hi Pauline
I love your card! I have seen these new folders but not taken much notice of them until now! I think I might have to invest some more pennies on these!

Very pretty and the folder is lovely. I like the colours together.I seem to be a bit uninspired by any of the challenges at the minute, but you have reminded me of my chalks. I do have some somewhere :D

Wow - this is gorgeous Pauline! When I saw these folders in a shop, I didn't think they looked like much, but I love the effect you've got with it! This reminds me, I've some glimmer chalks somewhere...
